Clarify the pressure point
Which real leadership or professional case concerns the group, and what question needs an answer?
Under time pressure, everything can seem equally urgent. We separate the triggering situation, the actual assignment, and the intended change; distinguish observations from assumptions; and clarify the question that truly needs an answer.
Outcome of this stepA precise working assignment instead of a vague sense that something is wrong.

Understand perspectives
The group expands the picture through different roles, observations, interests, and system perspectives.
The same situation looks different from different roles. We examine relevant interests, expectations, relationships, and organizational conditions without deciding too quickly which perspective must be right.
Outcome of this stepA differentiated picture that makes subsequent decisions more reliable.
Understand03 / 08
Recognize the constraint
Where has the case become stuck, and which possibilities disappear under immediate pressure?
The crucial question is not only what feels difficult, but how pressure narrows perception. We identify apparent either-or choices, automatic responses, and recurring patterns that obscure other possibilities.
Outcome of this stepThe specific constraint becomes visible and can therefore be addressed.
Understand04 / 08
Understand the current strategy
We examine how the case has been handled so far and what reasonable purpose that response served.
Even a response that now gets in the way once made sense. Rather than dismissing it, we examine what it was meant to protect, when it worked, and where its cost now exceeds its benefit.
Outcome of this stepThe purpose of the existing pattern is understood without having to defend it.
Expand05 / 08
Expand the options
Collegial perspectives help generate additional interventions and realistic alternatives.
Once the existing logic becomes clear, additional possibilities emerge. We shift perspective, consider unfamiliar interventions, and develop alternatives that fit the person, the assignment, and the surrounding system.
Outcome of this stepSeveral realistic courses of action instead of the previous either-or dilemma.

Define the new room to act
The person presenting the case decides which new course of action falls within their responsibility.
Not every theoretical option is useful under real conditions. We define the additional freedom that should actually emerge and how it would become recognizable in everyday practice.
Outcome of this stepA clearly defined room to act that can be used in practice.

Test a practical action
We prepare and, where useful, rehearse the conversation, intervention, or leadership decision together.
Insight alone does not change practice. We therefore prepare, rehearse, or test the new possibility as a conversation, decision, intervention, or behavior and refine it based on its actual impact.
Outcome of this stepA concrete next step that has been tested rather than merely discussed.

Consolidate impact and transfer
The next session or a brief update makes the effect, learning, and shared practice visible.
Whether a change lasts becomes clear outside the coaching conversation or training room. We define application, responsibility, and feedback so the new room to act can be sustained and developed in everyday work.
Outcome of this stepA practical implementation with feedback and a clear connection to everyday work.
